Petals

Rayne

Bear

Hello :)

I am Marion and these are my three wonderful dogs Petals (Aussie - 11 Yrs. 2004), Rayne (Aussie 6 Yrs. 2009) and Bear (Aussie X Border Collie 2.5 Yrs. 2013). I am a mature (over 50) disc dog player who is extrememly passionate about Freestyle disc. I have been playing Disc since Petals was a puppy. We started playing throw and catch in the back yard for exercise and when she was about 2 we moved to Calgary to live with our guy Dave and eventually discovered Freestyle Disc.  These dogs and disc have taken me on many venture throughout Canada and the US. I have met so many wonderful people and learned so much because of disc dogging and just want to share it with everyone.

Petals:

Petals is the girl who is to blame for my disc dogging addiction :) Everything I learned has been from her and her not liking freestyle disc. After many years coaching and trying to convince her how fun and exciting it was I came to the conclusion she plays the game her way and by then she had me trained enough so that I could move forward with my next freestyle disc dog *L* Petals is an amazing Toss and Fetch dog who can track and catch that disc no matter how crazy it flies :) She is amazing at doing exactly what she wants to do and does it extrememly well *L* even at 11 yrs old! She is my constant shadow and the best trainer I have every had!

Rayne;

As of 2015 Rayne is my current and best freestyke disc dog. She is amazing and very fearless when it comes to trying all my crazy ideas for disc. She can do some tricks that event I can't believe and is very flashy to watch :)  When it comes to being obedient Rayne is my never listen to you Mom dogs *L* she makes me insane but I love playing with this Girl and look forward to all she has to offer me as a friend and team player.

Bear:

Bear is my up and coming disc dog and hopefully is as good as Rayne in a few years as he still has much to learn and like Petals it is at His own speed *L*. He gets amazing air with almost every move he makes when catching the disc and he has an incredible drive. His passion does not only lean towards disc so we may end up venturing towards other sport competitions if disc is not his first love. I have an incredible bond with this boy because he came into my life when I found out I had ovarian cancer. I was one of the lucky ones who is now cancer free and Bear and I constantly celibrate the reason he is in my life and are excited to live on together exporing many of the fun things life has to offer.
